Our hours are very flexible. Regular check in time is noon to 4 p.m. If you need to drop off outside of that time I can make it happen for you. There is a small fee Dog Kennelof $10 to drop off before noon or after 5:30 p.m. I can’t rent the room the day before if you need to drop off early. I do everything I can to work with what you need. I do ask that you do not drop off between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. If you need to drop off later in the day you need to be here before 7 p.m. so your dog has a chance to get settled in before bedtime. It just makes it better for your dog and all of my other guest.

Pick-up time is by noon, if you need to pick-up after 12:00 noon. It is $6.00 per hour-per dog. It will not go over the day/night price and you can pick-up until 7:00pm. All I ask is that you keep me informed of when you are coming in to pick them up.

If you compare prices for what you get at Dogs Day Inn you will find our prices are very reasonable.

That being said, some dogs do have anxiety when being boarded. If your dog experiences anxiety while being boarded, I am willing to provide an herbal calming medication for their own good and for the other dogs having to listen to them for a small fee of $5.00 per day.

I ask that you bring:

  • Food and treats in small plastic or metal containers as required by the State of Missouri
  • NO RAW MEAT
  • You are welcome to bring their bed, blanket, toys, whatever you think will make them happy. (I have bowls and blankets if you don’t bring a bed.)
  • Bring a T-shirt or towel that has your scent on it. It makes the dogs feel better when they can still smell you.
  • You must bring a copy of current shot records from your vet, Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella. (You must bring a copy for our files. This is a State of Missouri requirement
  • Must be on Flea and Tick control. ($50 Fine for coming in with fleas)
  • Must be on heart worm preventative
